BARBARESCO “BASARIN”: THE STORY OF A FAMILY

WITH A VERTICAL TASTING | Sunday November 27 2022 | from 14.30 to 16.00

Place: FIVI Wine Market - PiacenzaExpo – Via Tirotti, 11 – Piacenza

Until 1968, the Adriano family had been tenant farmers. But with the purchase of their first property in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, Alba, came the turning point for the family. Marco and Vittorio bottled their first wine in 1994, thus embarking on their journey as independent winemakers. During this tasting of five vintages of their DOCG Barbaresco “Basarin”, you’ll discover the characteristics of the cru that, with its first vinification in the year 2000, became part of the Adriano family history.

Your hosts will be

Michela Adriano (Piedmontese winemaker) and Claudio Fenocchio (Piedmontese winemaker).

Wines to be tasted:

The 2000, 2005, 2013, 2017 and 2019 vintages of Marco e Vittorio Adriano Barbaresco DOCG “Basarin”.
